Initial Sketch
The inspiration behind the new logo concept was using the streamer's favourite Pokemon Mr.Mime as their main mascot of the logo, with the text using Super Mario Bros inspiration aesthetic for the "NOOB" bit of the logo. By using a retro-looking style for the "VGC" (Video Game Competitor/Competition), to pay homage to their capabilities to do a variety of streaming of some classic old-school games.

Brush Outline
The workflow in which this logo was developed was brought into Adobe Photoshop. To be able to create a high-resolution version of the logo to be developed and refined, where I have more control over elements that work and is far easier for me to make the desired result with what I have available.
By creating a rough outline, and then applying flat colours, this being the traditional Mr.Mime colours and the streamer's favourite colour Purple to the logo text and VGC text outline.

Development in Adobe Illustrator
The logo was then taken into Adobe Illustrator to help refine the outline and overall final finish of the logo, then able to focus on each section and recreate the process of what was done in Adobe Photoshop but at a more high-res version.

This is a breakdown of the NOOB text logo development from refind outline to additional outline application then adding inserted colour into the centre of the text, this time forgoing the dark shading that was initially in the rough concept version developed in Adobe Photoshop. Instead of opting for adding highlights and shading around the edges of the centre of the text allowing for a beveled look.

Moving on to the "VGC" text, after refining the look of the text then adding a white and purple outline to the black text before going back over the text and adding purple highlights. before adding some more additional black outlines to the purple stroke.

After refining the outline of Mr.Mime, I repeated the process that I applied in the Adobe Photoshop version of adding a Dark Layer first. Then building up it with lighter colours right up until the highlights. Giving it that 3-dimensional depth of the character.

Finally, after creating all the individual sections of the logo I added a few additional outlines (White/ Purple) to the logo to help tie all the individual pieces together which gives it that more finalised look.
Using the Shiny colouration found in the Pokemon Games I gave Mr.Mime its Shiny Green colours to be used as an alternate version for the streamer to use. I have also mounted the logos on purple backgrounds to keep in line with the purple theme seen throughout their desired branding.
